To be considered for this award, a hospital must become creative in making the most of their IT systems and follow specific benchmarks. Quality and Patient Safety Awards
CCH has received the Award of Excellence, Quality Improvement Achievement Award and Patient Safety Award! The Award of Excellence and Quality Improvement Award acknowledge quality improvement efforts to improve care processes for inpatient clinical performance in the care and treatment of heart failure and pneumonia, and outpatient clinical performance in the care and treatment of chest pain and acute myocardial infarction. This is the first year the Michigan Center for Rural Health has offered the Patient Safety Award.
